Roman Street Food Now in NYC

I learned today at work that NYC now has trapizzino—a pizza pocket sandwich that is apparently a popular Roman street food. It’s available at Trapizzino in the Lower East Side.

I’m making a mental note to check this place out once I can eat carbs again, haha.

Arby’s Secret Menu Items

I’ve decided to start a food blog! I’ve recently started a personal blog chronicling moments in my life, but a big part of my day-to-day is food (my one true love) and I need a separate space to explore it. As a content producer who works for publications covering the restaurant and foodservice industries, food is my work—and my joy.

One of my co-workers (a food writer who tracks menu trends) went to an event at the new Arby’s opening at Madison Square Park. He told me he tried the venison sandwich there and enjoyed it. He also brought back samples of their menu, including these “secret menu” items—the Meat Mountain and the Denali. Continue reading
